Title: Fructification Problems in Continental Apricot Cultivars Growing Under Mediterranean climate. Ovule Development at Anthesis in Two Climatic Areas
Authors: J. EGEA and L. BURGOS
pp: 107-110
Abstract:
When ovules from continental apricot cultivars growing in two climatic areas were compared at anthesis, small differences in the degree of development were found. All ovules examined at anthesis showed an important delay in development, being mostly immature. Ovule development could not explain by itself the differences in fructification of continental cultivars found between the two locations.
