Cyanidin 3-(6''-acetylgalactoside) and other anthocyanins from reddish leaves of the water lily, Nymphaea alba

Abstract:
The novel anthocyanin, cyanidin 3-O-(6''-acetyl-β-galactopyranoside) (23%), in addition to delphinidin 3-O-(2''- galloyl-6 99 -acetylgalactoside) (36%), delphinidin 3-O-(6''-acetylgalactoside) (25%), cyanidin 3-O-(2''-galloyl-6''- acetylgalactoside) (7%), delphinidin 3-O-(2''-galloylgalactoside) (3%), delphinidin 3-O-galactoside (3%) and cyanidin 3-O-galactoside (2%) have been identified in extract of reddish leaves of the white-flowered water lily, Nymphaea alba.
